What's the appeal?

 

There’s a real feeling of space here that’s hard to come by in other parts of Bali and Naya Gawana, with its generous suites and carefully laid plan, makes the most of this feeling. Even if you come here to enjoy the wide range of tours and activities you should certainly take time to simply relax, unwind and soak up the landscapes.

Rooms

 

The resort's Bay View Suites feature lovely open bathrooms that spill onto immense private gardens. Lumbung Suites are styled on local rice barn architecture and provide a delightfully quaint Balinese accommodation option without sacrificing any luxury whatsoever. Sunken baths connected to naturally heated thermal springs make for an unforgettably romantic touch. Kura Kura are the resort's entry-level rooms. They're very basic, quite claustrophobic and we consider them to be exceptionally overpriced.

Facilities

 

There’s a vast swimming pool and a small, secluded thermally-heated plunge-pool overlooking the bay. The Gawana Dive Centre has a team of certified and experienced divers who offer everything from introductory dives to packages of 20 boat dives (and even Rescue Diver courses). Naya Spa offers signature treatments including Balinese Coffee Scrub (with ginger and cinnamon) and Javanese Lulur treatment. Romantic dinners can be served on the jetty or even on the resort’s private boat. The resort can arrange jungle-trekking, bird-watching and kayak trips or even trips to Ijen volcano, over in Java...

Naya Gawana Resort & Spa lies between Menjangan and Pemuteran on Bali's northwest coast. It is a lovely four-hour drive over the highlands, taking in some of Bali’s most unforgettable (and lesser-known) landscapes.
