Matahari Beach Resort & Spa

From US$ 280 a night

Matahari is a beautiful, well-established luxury hotel that celebrates Balinese style and culture. It's set on a quiet, private beach and rests in exquisite tropical gardens.

Biorock Homestay

From US$ 55 a night

Biorock is one of the most affordable accommodation options this close to Pemuteran's beach – you'll need to walk 30 metres to get onto the sand. Built around a lovely open lawn and lush garden, the six rooms at Biorock Homestay are comfortable, quiet and immaculately kept. It's a fantastic base for travellers who want to be right at the beach.

Bali Gecko Homestay

From US$ 18 a night

Bali Gecko Homestay is excellent value for money. It's tucked into a quiet, leafy lane between the main road and the beach, and sits within an enormous garden. The four standard rooms (shown here) have fantastic views onto the mountains of West Bali National Park.

Magus Homestay

From US$ 26 a night

Although accommodation here is simple, the location is secluded enough to make it a pleasantly quiet place to stay. It is good value and has convinced a lot of travellers to extend what might have been a fleeting visit to this peaceful seaside village.

We travel – a lot – for our jobs, and that means we spend a lot of time online booking flights and accommodation. Booking.com is a website that we've come to trust, and one that we rely on for almost every trip we take. The website is easy to use, the user reviews are reliable and we love that on the app you can search for "hotels around me" – super useful for very last-minute bookings. Please note that if you book a hotel via the links on this site, we may qualify to earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you). So if you do book from this website and we do earn a little something: thank you.
