The Writers' Treehouse is an airy, jungle-style home that's 250m from the beach in Pekutatan. It's surrounded by trees and a tropical garden, with views across forested hills. It is a beautiful homely space in which to relax, catch up on some reading, get some writing or painting done, and from where to take long walks along wild beaches. For surfers, Medewi is a 7-minute drive away; there is a lovely eco-hotel just down the road, and you may use their pool if you have a meal there. away.

Although the foundations are on the ground, the owners call it a treehouse because it was built around an old mango tree and upstairs the full-length glass doors open onto the branches of this tree. The property is surrounded by palm and banana trees and is a cool, peaceful space in which to stay.
