Dive
around Menjangan Island in West Bali National Park. Visibility is exceptional, and there are many walls to dive. Marine life is abundant out here.
– Pemuteran –
Kayak
the mangrove-fringed Bay of Sumberkima, close to Pemuteran. Metaformosa, an NGO that operates in the area, runs kayaking trips here.
– Balian –
Yoga
classes are usually held twice a day in Balian, and there are some beautiful shalas around this village.
– Pemuteran –
Dive
the chain of reefs around Pemuteran. There is plenty to see (and – bonus – prices are relatively low), and the exquisite sites around Menjangan Island are close by, too.
– West Bali National Park –
Trek,
cycle or do a birding tour in West Bali National Park (with a guide). There is a chance you'll see the rare Balinese black monkeys and menjangan deer.
– Pemuteran –
Snorkel
from the beach in Pemuteran, or take a boat to one of the off-shore sites. You can rent snorkelling gear by the day from many dive operators around the village.
– Balian –
Surf
a wonderfully wild beach break at Balian. There are a few hillside restaurants and warungs that have uninterrupted views over the ocean, too.

Walk
down to the bottom of Juwuk Manis, West Bali's pretty twin waterfalls. You can swim in the pool at the base of the falls, too.

Yoga
classes are held at 7.30am every day at Sumberkima Hill, a 10-minute drive from Pemuteran. Stay for a smoothie bowl or healthy breakfast at the retreat's restaurant after class.

Jump
into secret rivers with Putu. He'll take you through plantations and jungle to an awesome secret spot.

Snorkel

along the road that winds through the pretty paddies of Pulukan. You might encounter duck herders and, early morning or late afternoon, you might see the volcanoes of Java in the distance.
